Meet our Pastor
Pastor Charles Ellerbe
Pastor Charles Ellerbe from Wadesboro, NC, now in Gainesville, VA, was called to ministry in 1996. Ordained by Bishop Floyd B. Brown, Jr. in 2007, he joined True Deliverance Church of God Ministries and planted a church in Manassas, VA with his wife. Pastor Ellerbe retired from the U.S. Army after serving for over 20 years. He received his Master of Arts in Religion and Master of Divinity degrees from Liberty Theological Seminary. Also, Pastor Ellerbe has completed course work at Luther Rice College and Seminary in Lithonia, GA in his pursuit of the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degree. Pastor Ellerbe has served as a volunteer in jail and prison outreach ministry with Good News Jail and Prison ministry at the Fairfax Adult Detention Center in Fairfax, Virginia for almost 20 years. Pastor Ellerbe has been teaching religious studies at Northern Virginia Community College since 2009. He met his wife, Beverly Ellerbe, while both were serving in the military, and have been married for 41 years. They have two adult sons, one daughter-in, and two grandsons. His favorite Scripture passage is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Meet our First Lady
Evangelist Beverly Ellerbe
Beverly Ellerbe is a retired U.S. Army veteran who served two tours Germany during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. She worked for Northern Virginia Community College for 20 before retiring again in October2021. She is married with two sons, a daughter-in-law, two grandsons. Beverly is a member of the True Deliverance Church of God in Manassas, VA, under the leadership of her husband, Pastor Charles Ellerbe, and Bishop Alvin D. Venson. Evangelist Ellerbe is licensed to preach God's Word and has a heart for outreach ministry. She retired from the military to serve in God's Army, traveling on foreign mission trips to feed, clothe, and pray for those in need. She is a Prayer Warrior and has ministered at various organizations, including the Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter and the Fau Women's Detention Center. She has also served as President of the Holiness Ministers' Wives and Widows Council and is associated with the NorthStar Women's Network. Her first mission in life is to be a servant. She is blessed every day for the opportunities to serve God’s people. Her favorite scripture is Ephesian 6:11 – “Put on the whole Armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Meet our Church Officer
Minister Valanda Engram-Harris
Valanda Engram-Harris is a retired mental health therapist who spent over 23 years working for Fairfax County Government's Community Service Board. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Virginia with her late husband, Michael Harris, after he retired from the US Army. Valanda is currently pursuing a Master's in Biblical at Liberty University and is an active member of True Deliverance Church of God in Manassas, Virginia. Minister Valanda Engram-Harris is a licensed minister who oversees various ministries, including AGLOW International, the Warrenton Detention Center for females, and the outreach at the Warrenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the elderly. She has also counseled at Care Net Pregnancy Resource Centers in Manassas, Virginia, and was the Youth Director for the Trinity Fellowship Churches of Maryland, Washington, and Virginia. Valanda's favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33, and her love is for the lost, the hurting, and the despondent.
